GIF Info FAQ

What can I check with GIF Info?
Dimensions in pixels, frame count, the delay of every frame in milliseconds, whether the GIF loops forever, the global palette size, and the raw file size — all parsed directly from the file's own bytes.
Does the tool modify my GIF?
Never. It is strictly read-only: the file is parsed in memory and no output is written.
Why is the reported file size different from my file manager?
Sizes here use the decimal kB (1 kB = 1000 bytes) convention, and some file managers show binary KiB. The byte count itself is exact.
